About Us – Nearly 50 Years of Specialist Piano Expertise
Our business has been dedicated to handling pianos with care, professionalism and expertise since the 1970s. Over the decades, we’ve developed a reputation built on trust, experience, and the ability to manage even the most challenging moves. Whether the job involves an upright piano in a family home or a large instrument in a concert venue, our focus has always been the same: protect the piano, protect the property, and give our customers complete confidence.
A Team Built on Skill and Precision
Our staff are trained specialists used to dealing with everything from modern digital pianos to delicate antique instruments. Many of the situations we face involve tight spaces, narrow stairs, or buildings that require careful planning — and that’s where our experience really shows. We use the right equipment, take our time to assess each job, and work methodically so the instrument stays safe from start to finish.
A Responsible Approach to End-of-Life Pianos
Not every piano can be saved, and when a customer decides an instrument has reached the end of its playable life, we take responsibility for handling it properly. We hold the appropriate waste-carrier licensing and break down each piano by hand so the components can be recycled or repurposed wherever possible. Because of this process, less than 1% of the pianos we dismantle end up in landfill — something we’re proud of and continually improving.
Secure, Flexible Storage Options
We also provide secure storage for customers who need their piano kept safe for a short time or on a long-term basis. Our facility is designed to protect instruments from damage and environmental changes, giving people peace of mind during house moves, renovations, or extended breaks.
A Reputation Built Over Generations
Working in this industry for nearly fifty years means we’ve supported thousands of families, schools, churches, and organisations. We’ve even appeared on television demonstrating the specialist skills involved. Much of our work comes through recommendations from piano tuners, technicians, and long-standing customers — a testament to the standards we maintain.
